Long Range Detection Capability

The Vindicator Command and Control (VCC) annunciator platform has been integrated with the Perimeter Surveillance Radar Sensor (PSRS) to provide long range detection and tracking capability. Combining state-of-the-art “Smart” sensor technology and the most reliable COTS Command and Control (C2) alarm monitoring platform in the security industry, Sandia National Laboratories, Vindicator Technologies and Sensor Technologies & Systems, Inc., has led the way with this technology integration milestone.

The primary function of long range detection sensors systems are to meet the requirements for an integrated wide-area security system that enhances the capability of Security Forces in their mission of Force Protection of personnel, resources, facilities, and Air Base Ground Defense Forces. They will provide a capability to detect, track, report, and assess intrusions by vehicles and personnel in open areas. These sensors will remain operable in adverse weather conditions, perform over varied terrain and operate continuously, 24 hours per day.
