The RSS-2000/2012 is an electric vehicle barrier system that
provides proven, reliable access control for the world’s most mission-critical
sites. It can be deployed at a single location or deployed in a multiple vehicle
choke point configuration. The system delivers base-wide fingertip control –
Security Forces can move an entire base from an open-road condition to a
closedroad condition in seconds.
The RSS-2000/2012 is a self-contained system that is certified to
disable a 15,000 lb vehicle traveling at a speed of 55mph. Each unit is housed
in a ½” welded steel vault with removable square bollard posts. Installation is
simple – the system can be fully operational in just a few hours. In case of a
major malfunction or power outage, the bollards can be raised
manually.
